CMYK

CMYK
A term used for printing of pages in full color through the mixing of four colors in succession: Cyan (blue), Magenta (pink), Yellow and K (black). K is used for black, because using B would cause confusion between blue and black. It is possible to combine different types of color printing on the same sheet of paper by, for example, using four colors on one side and a single color on the reverse. This is referred to as ‘four-over-one’ printing.
